Andy Murphy

Andy joined the TopGear team in January 2007.

Having spent over 31 years in the service industry with British Gas, Andy has always been keen to pass on his experience. The opportunity to become a driving instructor was an ideal career move.

Andy has excellent interpersonal skills to ensure the instruction he gives is clear, understood and reviewed to improve his pupils driving abilities. Andy will always have a smile on his face which helps his pupils enjoy the driving experience.

Married to Wendy, they have a daughter, Laura who started university in September 2007.

Andy tries to keep fit by jogging and walking. He is keen on all sports, particularly football and cricket.
